ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We're currently looking for a young and exciting individual to join our team as an Apprentice Stage Manager for the production of LILIES; OR,THE REVIVAL OF A ROMANTIC DRAMA by Michel Marc Bouchard and translated by Linda Gaboriau. The production is directed by Cole Alvis, Associate Directed by Nikki Shaffeeullah, Outside Eye by Donna-Michelle St.Bernard and Stage Managed by Neha Ross.  

SYNOPSIS: In 1912, two schoolboys fall inlove performing a play about Saint Sebastian. Their passion is interrupted whenone is unjustly sent to prison. Decades later, several inmates agree to stagethis story of young love in search of their own redemption.

Prolific indie company lemonTree creations revives Michel Marc Bouchard’s masterpiece with Walter Borden (African/Mi’qmaq/Choctaw) leading a cast ofIndigenous, Black, and culturally diverse artists to make visible the high incarceration rates of these communities. Centring Indigeneity and diverse worldviews, the creative team bring this romantic drama into the 21st century, unearthing love, lies, and colonialism. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting the Stage Manager, Neha Ross, during the prep, rehearsals, and performances of LILIES;OR,THE REVIVAL OF A ROMANTIC DRAMA
• Attending all production and show related meetings, as deemed necessary by the Stage Manager.
• Assisting with Laundry and basic costume maintenance during the run.
• Assisting with Properties maintenance and purchasing of running/food props when required. 

Prep days Wednesday April 1 , 2019- April 8,2019(1/2 week for Apprentice, dates to be determined by SM but they will fall somewhere between that week)
Rehearsals April 9 –  April 28, 2019
Tech Week April 29 - May 5, 2019
Previews May 4- May 8, 2019
Opening May 9, 2019
Closing May 26, 2019
(7.5 week contract)
