The Blood Cycle tells the story of three siblings looking for a way out of a 27-year long blood feud between two families disputing land ownership. This work is inspired by the ancient custom of blood taking (gjakmarrja), a practice of law enforcement in remote parts of Northern Albania. This work in progress is an exploration in story driven text and non-linear contemporary dance with choreography by Dora NominatedWilliam Yong.
